Mr. Shaju Barua FCA, M. Com. qualified as Chartered Accountants from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) during the year 2013 and became a Fellow Member in the year 2018. He accomplished Masters in Accounting from National University of Bangladesh in the year 2007. He completed his CA Articleship during the year 2011 from Rahman Rahman Huq, a partnership firm registered in Bangladesh and a member firm of the  KPMG network (“KPMG International”), a Swiss entity. During the year 2012 he had started his career as Head of Internal Audit in M M Ispahani Ltd. largest Tea trading company in Bangladesh also known as the Ispahani Group (Bangladeshi Industrial Conglomerate).

From 1^st September 2022, he joined as a partner in  M M Rahman & Co. Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Russel Bedford International . Prior to become a partner of  M M Rahaman & Co, he was employed as a Sr. Manager of Audit, Tax & Advisory Services with  Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co, Chartered Accountants, one of the leading Chartered Accountancy firms in Bangladesh from 1^st March 2016 to July 2022.

Mr. Barua has a lot of experience in the field of Audit, Tax, VAT, Company’s secretarial affairs and Consultancy in Initial Public Offering (IPO) process, Business valuation, Risk Analysis, Manufacturing, Trading, & various Service sector. He is a faculty member of ICAB. He participated numerous seminars/conferences as a part of professional development.

In addition to an outstanding professional career, Mr. Barua is also very active in various socio-cultural forum and trade bodies. He is a member of LION International Bangladesh and Chittagong Taxes Bar Associations.
