Syed Mahmud Ahmad, FCA qualified as a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) in Nov, 1989, Mr. Mahmud holds a record of providing professional service with excellence at senior management capacity of several private sector business houses. He worked with Beximco Group the largest private sector industrial conglomerate of Bangladesh. During his tenure with Beximco, he carried out internal audit in Beximco Hongkong (one of their Liason office located in Hongkong) He also look part in Indian Institute of Management (IIT) in management course in Calcutta. He has during this service life prior to before joining as a partner of M M Rahman & Co. Chartered Accountants he worked with Masih Muhith Haque & Co. Chartered Accountants, a member firm of RSM International Ltd. which is a sixth largest Accounting & Auditing Network firm in the world between April 2005 to April 2018. He has a lot of experience in auditing, accounting, corporate advisory services, especially in taxation. Attained experience in transport sector with ENEM OMNI companies, Bangladesh Dyestuff Industries, and BRAC one of the largest NGOs in world. He rendered management services in the area of business planning, long term fund raising, MIS, treasury management, external reporting, taxation and corporate affairs etc. He served ICAB as Secretary of its Dhaka Regional Council. Mr. Syed looks after taxation segment in the firm. As said earlier he is a Partner since April 2005.
